I am wearing pants

This is true. I am wearing pants. However, this is not the topic today; I just felt like saying that. Well, let's get on with it. Today's topic is umbrellas. I bet, whoever you are, reading this, you own at least one umbrella. Most people in the country do. They keep out rain, they're convenient, they have nice colors. But, there is one problem Americans face with umbrellas of the modern day: When they go inside-out. So, you're walking along the street on a rainy and windy day. It's cloudy and wet, you're going home from school or work, maybe talking on your cell phone. You're (unfortunately) going in the direction against the wind. You want to get home, out of the rain, unless you're like me, who could stay outside if it was a blizzard and not really care. But, all of a sudden, your umbrella is caught in the wind and goes out! You're getting rained on as you try to get it back to normal. Your friend on the phone wants to know what's going on. Ding, ding! Problem! Why would umbrellas be made if they can't withstand the wind? Everyone knows that with rain comes a little gust of wind! Umbrellas should be checked. Not all umbrellas handle wind as well as Mary Poppin's, you know. See the other Nannies waiting, their umbrellas showed terrible performance. And to think, in a movie, umbrellas get all that bad publicity! Disney must have something against them or, like me, want to show that this is a clear fault.
