Goodbye

You guys are all gonna be REALLY confused and depressed and sad after I say what I'm about to say, but all I will say is that I ask you respect my opinion and stuff.

I feel like God's been putting it on my heart lately that I use this here laptop too much. And I do. But I think that I could be doing a lot of other things in the time I use on this. Chances are, you guys out there don't want to hear me preach at you.

But I'll explain this:

Who here's Catholic? Raise those hands! Okay, heh, I'm not. I'm pentecostal, actually. But Catholics (well, most of them) have I think seven weeks (Tim, correct me if I'm wrong) of Lent, which means they give something up for God. Well, I'm not doing that.

But I think that a while without the laptop won't kill me. So, to break this beginning addiction, I will not 1: blog, 2: write my stories, 3: go on YouTube to upload or watch videos, 4: comment on your blogs, 5: read your blogs, or 6: anything else.

My exceptions:

I WILL be posting on my Christian blog.
I WILL take videos and pictures off of my camera because I am not avoiding THE CAMERA.
I WILL charge my mp3 and get new songs on it.
and I WILL sort through pictures on my computer IF THEY'RE MY PICTURES. If I'm surfing WeHeartIt for no reason, that doesn't count.

I'm gonna ask you guys PLEASE not to leave me the "o cassidy pleeze dont go WE LUV U!" comments, that's gonna weaken my stregnth. If you guys would be really nice, ENCOURAGE me instead. I want to do this for GOD, who's more important than this webpage.

I'm going to read your blogs now, notify you, and sign off.

For thirty days, until May 17th.

Bye.

Ma Homies

It's funny how many different kinds of friends I have, because they're all really different.

My church friends are who I go to when I want to have a good, EXCITING time, because pretty much any event that we see each other results in either most of us getting sugar high or causing chaos. They's pretty much my best friends, but if I'm trying to be serious, they're not the ones I'll go to.

My homeschool friends are where I go when I want to laugh...and laugh...AND LAUGH. At co-op, today, actually, we played kickball and then soccer and I think I might annoy the teenagers a little bit...they usually don't ask me to play with them, and now I know why: they just can't accept the fact that I can't catch a ball but I can steal it away from them.

My best friends (Jessica, Shannon...eh, let's throw Tim in there while we're on the topic of Shannon) are pretty much always there for me. Lotsa phone calls. Lotsa Shannon stopping breathing because she's laughing so hard...oh, Shannony, you're an oddball. You guys ROCK! (Tim, I hope you don't feel awkward because I added you here...I don't have any place else to put you and I guess I consider you my friend...yeah, okay.)

(BTW, news update, he has informed me that he's no longer procrastinating on his essay)

My blogger friends are YOU GUYS! You obviously don't know every thing about my life, but I think you guys care more about me sometimes than some of my others "friends." :)

Okay, now I have to go learn about cars...I'm at CHILL by the way, and we've all reccovered from stepping on Cal's feet playing soccer. :P (haha, you can't beat a girl. Nyah nyah!)

Abby

Abby is moving.

To North Carolina.

Thousands of miles away from here.

Abby is moving to North Carolina, which is thousands of miles away from here.

Our friend Abby. Kaylyn's friend Abby, Corrina's friend Abby, MY friend Abby. At the end of the school year, she is moving away, to North Carolina, which is thousands of miles away from here.

What will we remember about Abby? Her fantastic laugh. Her goofy smile. The way she'd get so pumped up about doing a video that almost nobody in the world will see. Her constant optimisim. The way she was nice to everybody. How happy she looked. How just being with her could make you happier.

We will remember how funny she is. What a good friend she is.

I have never fought with Abby. We have never insulted each other. She has supported me, and I think I've supported her. She's a good artist, singer, actress, smiler, laugher, friend.

We are gonna miss you like HECK, Abby.

A quick interview/A sleepova with the Camels and Tim

Topic one: Loulou (the lovely) has asked me some questions, and now I shall answer!
What inspired your latest blog name?

Do you remember what your first blog name was? When did you start blogging?
I started blogging four years ago, almost five, actually. My first blog name was the World of Cassidy, which had been my blog name for the longest time.
If you could invite one person to write anything on your blog, who would it be and why? (it can be a movie star, dead president, and anything in between!)
Well, actually, if my cat Chester could type, I would have him leave you guys a message. He loves you guys.
What are your top 3 blogs?
I follow and love a lot of blogs, but to be honest, I do have favorites. Bug Being Bug (done by Jade) is my top fave, and then Ace-of-Aoife (done by Aoife), then Walking Down Memory Lane (done by YOU). :)
What makes you appreciate a blog more than others?
I don't really understand this question. Soz.
What is the first thing you look at when reading a new blog?
Well, first, I look at the writer's profile. Then, I read their posts. If I like the blog, I will follow, then leave a comment notifying them of this. DONE.
What is your favorite song?
Um, all of them! Heh heh, no, let's see...how about my favorite songs? Higher by Gungor, Shine on Us and Sing It by Josh Wilson, Last Kiss by Taylor Swift, Tik Tok by Kesha, Good Day Sunshine and Hello Goodbye by the Beatles, and Give Peace a Chance by John Lennon.
Who would you say has impacted your life the most?
Hersheys bars.
Why do you love me/my blog?
Loulou, I love you for many reasons. You are a great friend, funny, and are always there with a word of encouragement when I need it. You blog is original and you fit no molds. You are also a talented writer and have a great imagination for making up words!

Thanks so much for asking the questions, Louls! :) :) :D :P I will shove you guys off a cliff unless you check out her blog, which can be easily found here. :)

Topic two: The other day, I slept over my friend Shannon's house. Of course, her sister Bridged (who is Corrina's friend) was there too, along with Sean and Patrick, who are their younger brothers. Tim (known to you all as TWAC) was there, too, procrastinating on his reports for school. (Sorry, I had to mention that.)

First, we went outside. Then, we had a VEGETARIAN dinner of rice-and-bean tacos (which I very much appreciated) and then went to the little Apostles (their church group for youngins) to "help."

(Definition of "help:" Shannon, Tim, me, and somebody-whose-name-escapes-me played catch while making sure the kids in the bounce houses didn't kill each other)

Then Shannon and Tim OCD'd over a bunch of chairs making sure they were perfectly straight. We went home and spun around in circles outside in the dark until we got sick and bored so we lied down on the dirt and talked for a while. Then we went to bed.

The next morning, we went to church and then went home and went for another walk, then we went home and did the dishes so we could go to the ice cream place. Then we went to their house to grab all of our stuff, and then we went home. THE END!

Okay, so, leave comments and stuff and blah blah and next time I'll post the videos that we made! :)

Y'all need something better to read.

Okay dokay! Sorry I've been a while. And, like, have nothing to say. Anybody have ideas about what I could post about? Leave them by comment or (coughcoughShannonJessicaTimcough) call me. In news, my Wii is still broken, thanks to ME, my father has not had time to get my good ole iTunes downloads, and I have a million stories in drafts, three of which are ready to be sent to the Campbells, all others will appear sometime at my book blog, which can be found at this link. Those are all stories I've written.

I'm at the library, at a computer, with the plastic-wrapped keyboard that makes it hard to type, the mouse that doesn't like clicking on links, and the moue pad with http://www.gateway.com/ printed on it, along with a, um, block of ice. Don't see what that has to do with computers or mouse pads.

Okay, so, once again, I'll need some new stuff to post about.

(Oh! P.S. GRP is great! Ian isn't there, but Theresa, a freshman, Tasha, who attends a cosmetics school somewhere, and Jordyn, one of my best friends, are. Wahoo!)

A-ringa-ding-ding-dong

This Monday, I start back at GRP, which is my acting thing. I'm really excited, but I don't know who's gonna be there. Like, I know Ian (remember the kid who kept asking me to go to his show with him for my birthday? Yeah, that's Ian) will be there. But I dunno about other kids.

Last year, I pretty much hung out with Megan, Jordyn, Ian, Anthony and Leo the whole time. It was really fun, but they probably won't be there and I'll have to start over with IAN as my only, like, person-that-I-already-know.

Oh, and in other news, Felicia said this kid on her bus (he's this kid that I used to know when we lived in her town...his name was Kevin, I believe) one day was sitting across from her, and all of a sudden, he just goes, REALLY LOUDLY, "A-RINGA-DING-DING-DONG!"

So now, I'm at her house, and she keeps on going, like every couple of minutes, "A-ringa-ding-ding-dong!" Ha ha. Lol.

I remember this one time, I was in Dunkin' Donuts, and I was waiting for my mom or someone to get back from the bathroom or whatever, and the guy at the table across from me just starts SCREAMING. I was about to ask if he was okay, and then he starts making words and, like, almost singing.

So the song ended and so I tapped him. "Yes?" He asked.
"You're singing," I said slowly, "and nobody else can hear the music."
Turns out the guy had headphones in and was listening to a song, HOPEFULLY headphones attached to an Ipod. "Oh, sorry, dude," He goes.
"I'm a girl," I said, nodding and turning away.

So, without further ado,

A-RINGA-DING-DING-DONG!
